As part of our Mobile Care Service, we can visit an assisted-living facility and provide full eye care examinations and service for your residents. Infinity Eye Care Center is equipped with top-of-the-line mobile equipment that allows us to bring the full benefits of a quality examination right to your location.  

Offering your residents and patients an option for annual eye care examinations within your facility has many benefits.

• Identify and treat vision impairment which improves the quality of life for your residents and limits injuries that could be sustained by poor vision
• Allow for early detection of conditions unrelated to the eyes such as glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, and strokes (We write a referral for follow-up care if and when it is needed.)
• Ensure that your facility is compliant with state and federal mandates pertaining to eye care
• Alleviate the risk of injury and burden of resources sustained when transporting residents and patients to on-site eye care examinations
• Show your patients and residents that you care about supporting their full health care needs and set yourself apart from other facilities that don’t offer on-site eye examinations
• Improve the standing of your residents’ primary care doctors with insurance companies as having annual eye exams on record for their patients will increase a facility’s HEDIS score (A copy of the exam report will be sent to your facility and the patient’s primary care doctor.)

Mobile Care Service examinations are no cost to your facility. Insured patients are allotted one eye exam and pair of single-vision or lined bifocal lenses and frames at no cost each year.

We can also create frames for your residents and mail or deliver them to your location (depending on distance) within a week and a half. (Please note that under new Florida Medicaid laws, ICF/ILD facilities are responsible for the cost of frames for Medicaid patients as they are now included in the ICF/IID per diem.)

Phone consults with resident’s families are also available to answer all questions prior to or after examinations.

Infinity Eye Care Center can accommodate facilities of any size and offers a flexible schedule. We are available during normal business hours as well as weekends, and depending on patient volume, we can travel outside of the Tampa area.
