Since May 2011, we have been working with Primary Care Physicians in the Tampa area to improve Health Care Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) scores as directed by the requirements for eye care. 

Having annual eye exams on record for your patients increases your facility’s HEDIS score, and improving your HEDIS score makes you eligible for receiving a higher rate of disbursements from insurance companies.

It is recommended that a Glaucoma screening be done once a year for patients 65 and older, and yearly eye health examinations for diabetics between 18-75 years of age. With our advanced equipment we are able to diagnose and monitor a multitude of ocular conditions like: Diabetes, Hypertension, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and others.

To reap find benefits for both your patients and practice by offering annual eye care to your patients, you can utilize our mobile care service or mobile referral service.

Under our Facility Mobile Care Service, we will visit your location and exam patients on-site. Mobile Service is of no cost to your facility.

Insured patients are allotted one eye exam and a pair of single-vision or lined bifocal lenses and frames at no cost each year. (Tinted prescription sunglasses are also available.) We can also create frames for your patients and mail or deliver them (depending on distance) within a week and a half.

We offer a flexible schedule and are available during normal business hours as well as weekends, and depending on patient volume, we can travel outside of the Tampa area.

If you would rather work together on a referral service, please let us know if you have patients that require house calls for their examinations, as we are able to cater to their needs as well.
